Jeera Aloo



Ingredients:

  • Potatoes  (aloo) : 2
  • Jeera : 1 1/2 spoons
  • Oil : 2 spoons
  • Onions chopped : 1(big)
  • Green chillies chopped : 3
  • Coriander powder : 1 spoon
  • Jeera powder (cumin powder) :1 spoon
  • Ginger garlic paste : 1 spoon
  • Salt : as per your taste
  • Chilli powder :1/2 spoon
  • Turmeric : one pinch
  • Kasuri methi(dry fenugreek leaves) : 1 spoon
  • Corriander leaves : 5 
 procedure:

  1. Boil the potatoes ,peel it and cut into 1 inch cubes.
  2. Heat the pan and add 2 spoons of oil to it.
  3. When the oil gets heated add jeera and let them crackel.
  4. Add ginger garlic paste and saute until the raw smell goes.
  5. Add onions ,saute them till they turn to light brown color.
  6. Add chopped green chillies and powdered kasuri methi.
  7. Fry it for few minutes.
  8. Now take a bowl and add cumin powder,corriander powder , red chilli powder and 2 spoons of water to it.mix them well and add to the pan and stir it well untill the oil oozes out the mixture.
  9. Now add diced potatoes to it adnd mix it well.
  10. Finally garnish with chopped coriander leaves

And now you can have it... :)
