Babycorn Panner Masala

Ingrediants:
  • baby corn : 1 cup
  • paneer : 1/2 cup
  • onion :1
  • tomatoes : 2 
  • ginger garlic paste : 1 spoon
  • dhania powder : 1 spoon
  • garam masala powder : 1 spoon
  • oil : 2 spoons
  • green chillies : 2    
  • salt : according to taste
  • chilli powder : 1/2 spoon
  • corriander leaves : for garnish

preparations:
  1. Boil and cut the baby corn in length wise
  2. keep the panner shredded
  3. chop the onions lenghwise
  4. chop the tomatoes as small bits
  5. cut the green chillies length wise

Method:
     Heat the oil in a pan , add onions , green chilles ,ginger garlic paste and let them fry a little. Now add salt ,
chilli powder ,dhania powder and add some water.when the water started boiling add boiled baby corn , tomatoes and let it cook for 2 mins and add paneer and cover with a lid for 2 mins. Now add garam masala powder and then garnish with corriander leaves. This curry tastes good and good to serve with chapati,roti and naan. this is also used as a side dish for jeera rice and ghee rice..:)

sabudana upma

Ingrediants:

  • sabudana : 1 cup
  • moongdal : 1/4 cup
  • green mirchi : 2-3(according to your taste)
  • grated fresh coconut : 4 spoons
  • onions :1 big
  • mustard seeds :1 spoon
  • jeera : 1 spoon
  • curry leaves : 6
  • salt : according to your taste
  • oil : 2 spoons

preparations:
  •  soak the sabudana in water for 45 mins
  •  half boil the moong dal 
  • make the chilles as a paste
Method:
      Heat a pan on a medium flame ,add oil and when the oil gets heated,add mustard and jeera .when the jeera is splittering add onions and mirchi and curry leaves .saute the onions and then add boiled moong dal,soaked sabudana and salt ..mix them well and let them cook for 3 mins..at-last add fresh coconut. then yours hot hot upma is ready to eat..

Carrot Halwa

Ingrediants:

  • Shredded Carrots :2 cups
  • milk :2 cups
  • ghee:1/4 cup
  • sugar:1 cup
  • sweet khova/condensed milk :1/2 cup
  • sliced cashew nuts :5(for garnishing)
  • sliced Badam : 5(for garnishing)
prepation:

       Heat the pan on a medium flame ,add the ghee and let it melt. Put the cashew and badam and fry till their colour changes to golden brown and keep it aside.Now in the same pan add the shredded carrot and fry it till the raw smell goes down and we can observe the carrot color will be changing ..then add the boiled milk and keep on stirring it for 5-7 mins..after all the milk is observed, add sugar and khova/condensed milk(if you dont have khova/ condensed milk you can add extra 1/4 cup of sugar).let it boil for 2-3 mintues.then take it into a bowl and garnish with cashew and badam..yummy yummy carrot halwa is ready:)
