Rava Kesari

  • Bombay rava(Rava coarse) : 1 cup
  • Milk : 1 cup
  • Water : 2 cups
  • Sugar : 1 cup
  • Cashews : 10
  • Ghee (clarified butter) : 2 tbspn
  1. Mix milk and water and bring it to boil on a medium flame.
  2. Take a pan add 1 tblspn ghee ,fry broken cashews and keep aside.
  3. In the same pan fry rava  in the ghee lightly till the raw smell goes.
  4.  When the milk is boiled , add the fried rava to the milk and stir continuously.
  5. Add sugar  and remaining ghee to the mixture.
  6. Stir on continously and when it started sticking to the pan remove it from the pan and spread it in a plate coated with ghee.
  7. After 5-10 mins cut into square pieces with the knife and garnish with cashews.
